Inside Physics Wallah's AI Startup Summit
Physics Wallah hosted the PW AI Startup Summit & Grand Challenge ’26 at its headquarters in Noida.
Built around the theme “Build. Pitch. Innovate.”, the summit brought together approximately 200 participants, including employees from multiple departments, leadership, and government delegates.
For an event centred around AI, innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging technology, the experience itself needed to reflect that spirit.
Physics Wallah wanted AI and robotics experiences that participants could interact with throughout the day.
Showmaker brought together three different technology-led experiences:
AI Humanoid Robot
An interactive humanoid robot capable of answering questions, providing information, moving around the venue, and performing movements and dance.
Participants could approach the robot directly, ask questions, and experience conversational AI in a physical form.
AI Robot Dog
A robotic dog moved through the event environment, performing movements and interacting with attendees.
Its mobility made it particularly effective at attracting attention. Participants naturally stopped, photographed it, recorded videos, and gathered around to see what it could do.
AI-Powered Photo Booth
The AI Photo Booth transformed participant photographs into themed AI-generated images.
Showmaker created a dedicated experience area with a small riser, interactive TV, LED PAR lighting, and supporting production elements.
Together, these three experiences allowed participants to encounter AI in completely different ways—through conversation, movement, and creativity.

Why Interactive AI Creates So Much Curiosity
One of the most interesting things about physical AI is that people don't need to be told to engage with it.
Curiosity does the work.
When a humanoid robot is standing in an event environment, the natural reaction is:
“What can it do?”
When it answers a question, moves, dances, or responds to someone, another person wants to try.
The same thing happened with the robot dog.
Because it moved around the venue rather than remaining in one location, participants encountered it naturally throughout the day.
This is fundamentally different from a static technology display.
Instead of asking attendees to visit an engagement zone, the experience itself can become part of the environment.
At the Physics Wallah summit, participants began asking the humanoid robot questions, watching its responses, interacting with the robot dog, and bringing colleagues over to experience the technology.

The AI Photo Booth at the Physics Wallah summit transformed participant images into themed AI-generated photographs.
