SHOWMAKER is hiring Event Management Interns

Work From Home + On-Ground Events in Bangalore & other cities · Paid · 3–6 months · High exposure · Fast growth

SHOWMAKER is a corporate events and employee-engagement company trusted by leading brands. This internship is built for people who want real responsibility—not busywork—in how large-scale corporate events are planned, sold, and delivered.

Our mission

We help companies bring their people together through unforgettable experiences—team offsites, annual days, leadership summits, and hybrid engagement programs. Interns sit close to the work: client conversations, vendor coordination, run-of-show planning, and live event execution.

Why this role is rare

  • You work on live corporate events with enterprise clients—not hypothetical case studies.
  • Hybrid model: structured WFH learning and daily ops, plus on-ground presence when events go live.
  • Founder access: direct mentorship from leaders who still run pitches, productions, and client relationships.
  • Travel exposure when programs run outside Bangalore (as needed).

What you will learn & own

  • End-to-end event lifecycle: brief → concept → vendor shortlist → logistics → on-ground delivery → wrap-up.
  • Client and stakeholder communication in a professional services environment.
  • Vendor research, costing sheets, and coordination across artists, venues, and production partners.
  • Run-of-show, timelines, and problem-solving during live events.

Work model

Hybrid: WFH for training, research, planning, and daily coordination. On-ground for event days in Bangalore and nearby cities. Travel when client programs require it (planned in advance).

WFH responsibilities (daily)

  • Research venues, artists, and vendors; maintain trackers and status updates.
  • Draft event concepts, agendas, and client-facing decks with senior review.
  • Coordinate internal teams on timelines, assets, and approvals.
  • Support CRM / pipeline hygiene and post-event reporting.

On-ground responsibilities (event days)

  • Assist with vendor check-in, setup oversight, and guest flow.
  • Support show callers and ops leads during rehearsals and live runs.
  • Capture learnings, photos, and debrief notes for continuous improvement.

Growth path

Strong performers can grow into Event Coordinator, Key Account Support, or specialist tracks (content, artist relations, production)—based on aptitude and business needs.

Culture

We are fast, honest, and client-obsessed. We value ownership, clear communication, and people who stay calm when the mic goes silent for two seconds before the CEO walks on stage.

A note from our founders — Tabraz Ahmed & Mithun Sam

We started SHOWMAKER because corporate events deserve the same craft as consumer experiences. If you are hungry to learn, willing to travel for the right program, and comfortable being accountable early—we would rather teach you on real events than keep you on the sidelines. Show us how you think, how you communicate, and how you handle pressure. The rest we can build together.
